I recently discovered a very interesting project that combines AI and Web3 technology: GaiaNet - https://www.gaianet.ai/. It allows for decentralized sharing of computing resources and knowledge bases.
GaiaNet is a decentralized computing infrastructure that enables everyone to create, deploy, scale, and monetize their own AI agents, which reflect their style, values, knowledge, and expertise.

I followed this guide (https://hackmd.io/@wasmedge/H1fonBXGA) step by step to install GaiaNet on my MacBook and successfully set up a node.

This provides users with the opportunity to obtain answers from rich information sources. Of course, you can also add your own knowledge base.

A GaiaNet node includes a high-performance and cross-platform application runtime, a fine-tuned LLM, a knowledge embedding model, a vector database (Qdrant snapshot), a prompt manager, an open API server, and a plugin system for invoking external tools and functions using LLM output. It can be deployed by any knowledge worker as a digital twin and provided as a Web API service. Tradable assets and markets can be created from personalized knowledge bases and components. Similar GaiaNet nodes are organized into GaiaNet domains, providing trustworthy AI agent services to the public. At the same time, it enables individuals to provide and expand their LLM agents as services and get paid for their expertise and work.
